Recycling and Yard Waste Drop-off Site
The City of Stevens Point has a recycling and yard
waste drop-off, which is located at 100 Sixth Avenue (in front of the City Garage), and is open all year at the
following times (except holidays).
SUMMER HOURS (April 15 to October 15)
Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
WINTER HOURS (October 16 to April 14)
Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
DEMOLITION materials are accepted the first Saturday of each month at the Drop-off for a fee.
SCRAP METAL now accepted during drop-off hours. Residents may drop-off washers, dryers, stoves, hot water heaters,
microwaves, bikes, most scrap metal, lawn mowers (remove gas and oil), and steel or copper piping.
The drop-off DOES NOT accept refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, garbage, medical waste, or electronics waste.
